The swimming pool has a Hydrohex virtual water exercise service. There is no separate schedule for the virtual water exercises, but you can select the exercise using a remote control. The remote control can be obtained from the swimming supervisors during the public hours of the therapy pool.
There is a gym and a café on the same premises. The building also houses a sports hall and a general upper secondary school.
All the facilities are accessible.

Women-only hours on Sundays
The women-only hours are organized weekly on Sundays at 9:00-10:30 at the Keski-Espoo swimming pool. The entire swimming pool will be reserved for women during these hours.
Women and girls of all ages are welcome to participate in the women-only hours.
During the women-only hours, all personel working in the swimming pool are women.
Registration in advance is not required.
The women-only hours has the same entrance fee as the swimming pool normally has.
Please note that the swimming pool café will be closed in the morning. You can buy snacks and beverages at the ticket desk during women-only hours.
The swimming pool will be open to everyone from 11:00 onwards. The swimming pools are not in use between 10.30 and 11.

Beginner Swimming School for Girls 7-15 years
Keski-Espoo swimming pool, Sundays 11 January to 22 February 2026 between 9.15-9.45
The swimming school is organized in cooperation with the City of Espoo and participation in the swimming school is free of charge (participants only pay the swimming pool entrance fee).
On this course we teach the elementary swimming skills by means of stories, playing and having fun. Participant attends the group without a parent. The course is intended for girls only.
The course is held during the women’s swimming session, so the child’s accompanying adult must be a woman.
Starting level requirements: To participate, the child must be able to follow instructions independently without assistance from a parent. The course is intended for girls aged 7–15. On this course child doesn’t have to be able to dive under water yet. The participant must follow the swimming pool rules and follow the teachers instructions and be able to work in a group.
Course objective: To develop the skills of moving in the water and to practice diving, floating, gliding and basics of elementary swimming, as kicking.
One lesson lasts 30 minutes. Lessons are arranged in the teaching pool.
The parent is always responsible for the child outside the course time.
Women's swimming school for girls and women aged +15

The swimming school is organized in cooperation with the City of Espoo, and participation in the swimming school is free of charge (participants only pay the swimming pool entrance fee).
In the beginners’ course we practice the basic swimming skills (diving, gliding, and floating) and build confidence to enjoy being in the water. The main goal is to learn how to swim a few meters. The course is intended for women only!
The course is held during the women’s swimming session.
Starting level requirements: The participant has the encourage to take a dip in the water. The course is arranged in a shallow pool (teaching pool). The participant must be at least 15 years old. The participant must follow the swimming pool rules and follow the teachers instructions and be able to work in a group.
We recommend using own goggles during the course.
You will meet the teacher by the pool at the time the course begins. The parent is always responsible for the child outside the course time.
The 3 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and it uses movement-guiding surface material.
The main entrance
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with an opening button.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
In the facility
The sports facilities are located on floor 1.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The service point has directions to the different facilities and uses movement-guiding surface material.
The indoor walkways have a ramp over 6 m long with an intermediate landing, with handrails on both sides.
There is a heated storage area for wheelchairs and prams next to the entrance.
The facility has a toilet marked as accessible on the entrance floor. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.
At the customer service/cashier's desk, you can borrow a wheelchair, shower wheelchair.
The facility features a quiet area for guide and aid dogs.
Dressing room, shower room and sauna
The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The facility has a separate accessible dressing room. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open. The doorway has a high threshold.
The separate accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. There are lockers in the dressing room. An accessible toilet is connected to the dressing room.
An accessible shower room is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually. The doorway has no threshold.
The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat and armrest as well as a support railing.
An accessible sauna is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
The sauna has room for two wheelchairs. It is possible to move onto the lowest bench from the wheelchair. The upper benches can be accessed through easily navigable steps with handrails.
Sports facilities
Room is available next to the pools for storing aids during swimming.
The large/deep pool features accessible entry via a pool lift.
The children's pool does not feature accessible entry (steep steps or a pool ladder).
The teaching pool features accessible entry via gently-sloping steps or a ramp. The steps and ramp have handrails on both sides.
The whirlpool bath does not feature accessible entry (steep steps or a pool ladder).
The swimming hall closes an hour after the counter has closed.
