The Keski-Espoo swimming pool is located in a historic place on the riverbank next to the Espoo Cathedral.

In addition to regular saunas, the swimming pool has an aroma sauna.
The swimming pool offers the Hydrohex virtual water aerobics service. There is no separate schedule for virtual water aerobics, but you can select an exercise with the remote control. You can ask the lifeguards for a remote control during the public swim sessions of the therapy pool.
The swimming pool has a gym and a café. A sports hall and general upper secondary school are located in the same building.

Women-only hours on Sundays
Women-only hours are on a break from 1 June to 5 September 2026. Women-only hours will resume on 6 September 2026.
Women-only hours are organised on Sundays from 9:00 to 10:30 at the Keski-Espoo swimming pool. The entire swimming facilities are reserved for only women during the women-only hours.
Women and girls of all ages are welcome to the women-only hours.
The sessions will also have an all-women staff.
You do not need to sign up for the women-only swimming hours.
The entrance fee is the same as at other times.
Please note that the café at the swimming pool is closed in the morning. You can buy small snacks and drinks from the ticket counter during the women-only hours.
The swimming pool will be open to all visitors at 11:00. The swimming pools are closed from 10:30 to 11:00.

The first women-only independent gym session at the Keski-Espoo swimming pool will take place on Sunday 6 September 2026. Women-only gym sessions will be held on Sundays from 9:30 to 11:00. The gym, swimming pool and changing rooms are reserved exclusively for women during women-only sessions. The facilities will be opened to all visitors at 11:00.
The 3 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and it uses movement-guiding surface material.
The main entrance
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with an opening button.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
In the facility
The sports facilities are located on floor 1.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The service point has directions to the different facilities and uses movement-guiding surface material.
The indoor walkways have a ramp over 6 m long with an intermediate landing, with handrails on both sides.
There is a heated storage area for wheelchairs and prams next to the entrance.
The facility has a toilet marked as accessible on the entrance floor. The requirements for accessibility are not met, as the toilet does not have sufficient room for a wheelchair.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.
At the customer service/cashier's desk, you can borrow a wheelchair, shower wheelchair.
The facility features a quiet area for guide and aid dogs.
Dressing room, shower room and sauna
The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The facility has a separate accessible dressing room. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open. The doorway has a high threshold.
The separate accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. There are lockers in the dressing room. An accessible toilet is connected to the dressing room.
An accessible shower room is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually. The doorway has no threshold.
The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat and armrest as well as a support railing.
An accessible sauna is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
The sauna has room for two wheelchairs. It is possible to move onto the lowest bench from the wheelchair. The upper benches can be accessed through easily navigable steps with handrails.
Sports facilities
Room is available next to the pools for storing aids during swimming.
The large/deep pool features accessible entry via a pool lift.
The children's pool does not feature accessible entry (steep steps or a pool ladder).
The teaching pool features accessible entry via gently-sloping steps or a ramp. The steps and ramp have handrails on both sides.
The whirlpool bath does not feature accessible entry (steep steps or a pool ladder).
