Premises of Nature House Villa Elfvik rental for parties and meetings

The premises of the nature house can be rented for private events, meetings and educational purposes. The banquet room downstairs can be booked when the nature house is closed to the public. The roof tiles of Nature House Villa Elfvik will be replaced. More information about the project here.

The downstairs banquet room seats about 40 people. The room comes with a small catering kitchen and a basic set of dishes. There is a piano in the banquet room. The exhibition rooms are open, but bringing food there is prohibited.  

• The rent fee for a private event downstairs is €396. If the party lasts longer than six hours, the fee for extra hours is €39 per hour. Employees of the City of Espoo receive a 10% discount on rent fees. 
• The rent fee for a business event is €463. If the event lasts longer than six hours, the fee for extra hours is €46 per hour.  
• A reduced fee is charged for private and business events held in the banquet room during the roof renovation in 2025: EUR 273 + extra hours for private events, EUR 337 + extra hours for business events.
• The rent fee for a meeting or educational event downstairs is €41 per hour on weekdays and €46 on Sundays. Units of the City of Espoo may use the premises free of charge.  

Rent fees are not charged for the initial preparation and final cleaning time.  

The renter of the premises is not given a key; a security guard is ordered to open and lock the premises. The fee for a visit from the security company is €136.  

The customer is responsible for cleaning the premises after the event. The final cleaning can also be ordered through the nature house for a separate fee. Cleaning the dishes and kitchen is the responsibility of the customer.  

You can book a video projector, speaker or the downstairs lobby info TV when reserving the premises.  

The upstairs meeting room seats 15 people. The rent fee is €21 per hour, on Sundays €26 per hour.  Units of the City of Espoo may use the premises free of charge.   

There is a meeting screen and a loudspeaker and a flip chart at your disposal. Uuttu also has a refrigerator, a coffee maker, an electric kettle and a microwave oven. You can borrow dishes from the nature house as long as you wash them after use.  

You can throw environmentally friendly children’s birthday parties upstairs in Uuttu. Adventurous nature-themed birthday parties are organised by Luonnonihme Oy, +358 40 5207400, e-mail: luonnonihme@icloud.com. During the opening hours of the café, it is recommended to order catering from Café Elfvik.
