New construction around Haukilahti Shopping Centre
Local detailed plansTapiolaNew homes as well as commercial and service premises are being planned for the centre of Haukilahti to replace the shopping centre that is to be demolished. The purpose of the plan amendment is to improve the conditions for pedestrians and the street arrangements on Ukkohauentie. The new construction will be limited to the area between Haukilahdenkatu and Ukkohauentie. The aim is to build residential buildings with commercial premises located on the bottom-floor, similar to city centres, and to create a new urban square around which the commercial properties will be located. Proposal is available for public review 19.2.–19.3.2024.
