Decision-making
Grant decisions are based on the principles defined by the Culture and Youth Committee and the strategic objectives of the City of Espoo.
The Culture and Youth Committee decides on applications where the requested amount is at least EUR 6,000 or the granted sum exceeds EUR 3,000. If you want your application to be processed in a specific committee meeting, submit it during the application period no later than three weeks before the Culture and Youth Committee meeting you wish it to be handled in.
When it comes to event and project grants, the Culture and Youth Committee has delegated decision-making power (authority) to the Cultural Director in the case of grants with an application amount of less than EUR 6,000 and a maximum amount of EUR 3,000 to be awarded.
