Event and project grants are used to organise art or cultural events, city district events or projects in Espoo that increase the participation of residents.

The grant can be applied for to organise open cultural events that promote the participation of Espoo residents, regional cultural events, performances and concerts, workshops and art education projects, camp activities and projects implemented in a public urban space and projects to record local history in Espoo.

The grant can be applied for projects that promote residents’ ability to maintain their own well-being by making and experiencing art.

Support may also be granted for a recurring event or project if the applicant is not a recipient of the annual grant of the Culture Committee.

The grant is intended for professional operators, associations, work groups and private persons. Collaborative projects are recommended.

A realised event or project must be reported to the Cultural Unit within three months of the end of the project. The use of the event and project grant is reported using a separate report form. You can find the report form on the webpage To the grant recipient.
