Culture and Youth Committee
The Culture and Youth Committee is responsible for matters related to the city’s Finnish-language cultural offering and cultural profile, the City Museum, the City Orchestra and the City Library. In addition, it is responsible for matters concerning Finnish-language youth services and for monitoring the living conditions of young people.

The interested parties always receive an extract from the record of proceedings and decisions or a notification of a decision after a meeting. Appeal instructions are provided together with the extract.
Natural and legal persons resident in a municipality are considered to have been notified of decisions seven days after the record of proceedings and decisions becomes publicly available on the city’s website. A claim for a revised decision must be submitted within 14 days and an appeal against the decision of a municipal authority within 30 days of being informed of the decision.
