Sustainable Future Districts Pilot Program
The Sustainable Future Districts Pilot Program develops and tests innovative solutions that address urban sustainability challenges. The program’s pilots will be implemented in Espoo’s neighborhoods during 2025.
What is the Pilot Program?
The program explores new ideas to foster sustainable mobility and biodiversity in urban environments. The program offers companies opportunities to network and co-develop solutions for a more sustainable urban environment. Selected solutions will be tested in real-life settings, with pilots carried out in Espoo’s neighborhoods and their impacts monitored collaboratively.
Our aim is to…
- Drive sustainable development in urban neighborhoods and promote green transition in businesses
- Provide opportunities for testing sustainable solutions and collaborative innovation
- Increase visibility for new sustainable services and products
