Adapted physical activity for people with special needs
Welcome the swimming pools, gyms and our guided exercise groups! We want to ensure that all Espoo residents have equal opportunities for exercise and movement. Adapted groups are intended for people who have difficulties participating in general exercise groups due to a disability, illness, or another type of impaired capacity.
Culture for All
With Kaikukortti card the cardholder can obtain free tickets and course places among all the cultural services that are part of the national Kaikukortti network. Culture belongs to everybody, regardless of their financial situation.
The Disability Council wants to make people with disabilities visible
Espoo’s Disability Council monitors and takes measures to promote the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities and long-term illnesses in Espoo. All city services must be suitable for people with disabilities.
The Disability Services offer help
The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County is now responsible for disability services in Espoo. Please contact them if you need advice or support due to a disability or a long-term illness.
