Outreach youth work
We operate in Espoo area, offering young people between 15-28 years of age guidance and support when they need it. Our goal is to meet you as an individual and to provide you with an opportunity to get safe and confidential help from an adult. We will work with you to find answers to any questions you might have. We will also help you to reach the services you need. Our primary mission is to help young people under 29 years of age who are outside education or the labour market. In addition, we offer support and help in finding the various services. Outreach youth work is always free of charge and completely voluntary for you.

Outreach youth workers
Outreach youth work offered at home
Espoo’s outreach youth workers also make home visits. We can come to visit you at your home if you so prefer or if you have challenges leaving your home or need services at your home. We will take along a partner, such as a social worker, a Vamos employee or a psychiatric nurse, in accordance with your needs. You can request a home visit from any of the outreach youth workers.

Outreach street youth work
Outreach street youth workers work during evenings and at weekends. You can meet us at a shopping centre, a school field, a skate park, a train station or the metro, for example. You can come and talk to us about anything on your mind. We are there to meet you and help and assist you according to your needs.

We, the outreach youth workers of Starttipiste, work mainly in the walk-in guidance Ohjaamotalo's Startpiste, answering questions that come to your mind.
