Land use review for Viiskorpi-Kalajärvi

Land use reviews are visions or plans for a specific area. In the Viiskorpi-Kalajärvi area, the development opportunities based on the master plan for Northern and Central Espoo will be reviewed for a development corridor formed by the public transport trunk connections. The development corridor includes Kalajärvi centre and the new centre area of Viiskorpi as determined in the master plan. In the review, both short-term and long-term planning solutions, as well as options for the area’s implementation, will be sought. In Viiskorpi, the goal is to create conditions for a new and diverse centre for housing and business, built in a climate-smart way. In Kalajärvi, the goal is to study the densification potential of the centre and its better connection to other centres in Espoo via Viiskorpi.
