Digital Public Services Reduce the Need for Printing

Public services are now primarily provided digitally. From April 2026 onwards, official mail from public authorities will be delivered to people in Finland by default via Suomi.fi Messages. Read more about Suomi.fi Messages

The move to digital services has reduced, and in many cases completely removed, the need for customers to submit printed documents to public authorities. Digital services are also beneficial for customers, as they ensure reliable processing and tracking of matters.
