Residents’ parks will close for Christmas week – eight parks will be open around New Year
Residents’ parks will close for Christmas week in Espoo. Eight parks will be open as usual between 30 December 2024 and 3 January 2025, except for public holidays. After Epiphany (6 Jan), all parks will return to their normal opening hours
All residents’ parks in Espoo will be open until Friday 20 December 2024, before closing for Christmas.
During the week leading up to Christmas, many parks will host festive activities such as Christmas card workshops, elf games, and Christmas parties. More information is available on the parks’ webpages. Here you can find a list of parks and links to their webpages.
All residents’ parks will be closed during Christmas week, i.e. 23–27 December 2024, but the parks’ yard areas will remain open for independent play and recreation.
After Christmas week, eight parks will be open Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00, except for public holidays.
The parks that are open will offer a variety of fun holiday activities, including crafts and snow play. Starting from 7 January 2025, all residents’ parks will return to their normal opening hours.
