Communication between day-care centres and guardians transferred to eVaka
The new electronic service enables secure communication between guardians and day-care centres.
In Espoo, the communication between guardians and day-care centres has now been transferred to the eVaka system. EVaka is an electronic service provided by the City of Espoo Early Childhood Education.
From now on, communication between day-care centres and guardians will take place via eVaka’s message function. The service is in use in all Espoo early childhood education units, day-care centres and group family day-care centres. EVaka serves as a communication tool between guardians, day-care staff and management. It is an easy-to-use and secure channel for communicating your child’s matters.
You can access the eVaka message function by logging in to the service at www.espoonvarhaiskasvatus.fi(external link, opens in a new window). When accessed for the first time, the service requires strong authentication, for example, with online banking credentials.
Additional information and instructions on how to use eVaka are available here. We are constantly developing the service and are planning to introduce new functions in the future. Feel free to send us your feedback on the service using the feedback form.(external link, opens in a new window) We also welcome ideas for further developing the service!
