The political monitoring group opened a discussion about the future structure of the wellbeing services county
Next spring, Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county will have a county council and board, but which other structures are on the way? It is required by law that the wellbeing services county also feature an appeal board, national language board, county election board, youth council, disability council and senior council. For any other parts, the county council will exercise broad discretion on what kind of organisation of representative bodies the wellbeing services county will have.

The monitoring group held a preliminary discussion on the topic, which will continue at the next meeting on 9 December 2021. The monitoring group also studied the overview of the wellbeing services county preparations, the ICT department and how bilingual services will be ensured.
