My Espoo on the Map
Residents have valuable information about their home town and immediate surroundings. Such information can be used in city planning. Residents’ experience-based information and development ideas were collected with the My Espoo on the Map survey in autumn 2020 and 2024.Planning and research
The map survey collected information for both city planning and research. Aalto University is conducting research on how the urban environment affects the well-being experienced by residents and how well-being could be promoted. The provided information will benefit Espoo residents.

Results of the 2020 survey
In 2020, approximately 6,600 Espoo residents responded to the first survey. They marked nearly 70,000 places on the map.
