Application  periods for sports facilities 2026

The application period for time slots in the sports facilities listed below is 8 December 2025–16 January 2026 

• Athletics fields from 2 May to 27 September 2026
• Summertime slots in swimming halls from 1 June to 9 August 2026
• Summertime slots in schools’ sports facilities from 4 May to 12 June 2026 and from 3 August to 14 August 2026 (Ruusutorppa, Karakallio) 
• Time slots in Suna school gym under users’ self-supervision from 17 August to 13 December 2026 and from 4 January to 23 May 2027  
   

When you log in, you can select whether to make a reservation on behalf of a sports club or as a private person. It is important for contact persons to indicate that they represent a sports club after logging in so that the reservations are done in the name of the sports club. After login, the contact person always has the opportunity to update his/her own information and the club’s information.

We process applications only during office hours (Mon - Fri).

All reservations are subject to charges.

• General terms of use for time slots at the sports facilities of City of Espoo Sports and Exercise Services 

The system is optimised for Chrome and Firefox browsers.

The tennis reservation calendar is open from May 2nd to October 5th, weather permitting. The price for a single session is €5.70 per hour.

Tennis sessions are booked through the online sports facility reservation calendar. You log in to the calendar using personal online banking credentials or a mobile certificate. Sessions must start or end on the hour or half past the hour. Reservations must be paid for at the time of booking using either online banking or a credit card. All reservations are binding.

Please note! If you make a reservation in your browser's incognito or private mode and pay with MobilePay, after returning from the bank, you will be directed to the login page. You will need to log in again to the calendar to complete the process.

The Sports Services are not responsible for any payment issues or cancellations caused by failing to return to the e-service system after payment.

A reservation can be cancelled up to five (5) days before the booked time, in which case the payment will be refunded. Cancellations must be made in writing to: liikuntapaikkavaraukset@espoo.fi. You will always receive a confirmation email for a successful reservation. If you do not receive one, the booking has not gone through, even if it temporarily appears in the booking system.

The processing time for online payment refunds is approximately seven working days. Refunds are processed during office hours.

Refunds will not be issued due to weather conditions or for unused reservations.
