Three-month artist grant

The application period for a three-month artist grant is from 2 March to 31 March, 2026 until 15:45.

What is the purpose of the grant?

The grant can be awarded for artistic work and related costs.

Who can apply for a grant?

You can apply for the three-month artist grant if you live permanently in Espoo and are a professional artist. The purpose of the grant is primarily to support professional artists who are in the early stages of their careers.  However, grant decisions are discretionary and the grant may also be awarded to an artist who has been working in the profession for a longer period of time in accordance with the assessment criteria.

As a rule, the three-month artist grant is not awarded to the same applicant more than once per council term 2025-2029.

What is the amount of the grant?

The artist grant awarded by the City of Espoo corresponds with the artist grants awarded by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland. The grant amounts to EUR 2249.02 per month in 2026.
