Work capacity and well-being during unemployment
There are many ways to increase one’s own well-being and maintain one’s work capacity during unemployment. Ask for advice and support for everyday life with a low threshold.
Health check-up for unemployed
We offer a free health and well-being check-up for unemployed. Please do the following:
- Do the electronic well-being survey in Oma olo service(external link). It provides you a comprehensive report of your health and well-being and guides you to help when needed.
- The Oma olo system automatically asks if you want to contact your local nurse. Please do that.
- After this, the City of Espoo's nurse contacts you and makes an appointment for the health and well-being check-up.

- Sports counsellors of the City of Espoo will draw up a sports and exercise plan for you
- Tips for self-directed exercise
- Tickets to the City of Espoo swimming pools at reduced prices for the unemployed
- Gym and swimming hall bracelets for special groups
- Omnia Adult Education Centre courses(external link) at half-price for the unemployed, if the fee exceeds €14
- You can apply for the Kaikukortti card to get free tickets to museums, theatres, festivals and concerts in Espoo.
