Leppävaara Sports Park
The Kaleva Games will be held at Leppävaara Sports Park from 1 to 3 August 2025 and SM-viikko (the Week of Finnish Championships) from 14 to 17 August 2025. The competitions will bring many visitors to the Leppävaara Sports Park and will affect the opening hours of some sports facilities and parking arrangements in the area.
Leppävaara Sports Park has
- Artificial turf field
- Sand field (ice skating area and natural ice rink during winter time)
- Athletics stadium (eight lanes, grass field, 2,800 covered seats + 1,500 open spectator seats)
- Separate training area for athletics throwing sports
- Basketball court
- Tennis courts
- Fitness trails 2-5.5 km
- Cross-country ski trails 2-5.5 km
- Large skate park
- Angry Birds park
NOTE! Construction work of the artificial turf field, artificial ice, tennis courts and other sports areas will begin in Leppävaara Sports Park on 10 June 2024. This will cause construction site traffic in the sports park area and changes to light traffic routes as shown in the picture until June 2025. Changes are possible and will be announced separately. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the construction site.
Parking spaces are also available at Vanha Maantie 15. A parking time limit will come into effect in the Vanha Maantie parking area next to Leppävaara Sports Park from week 14 (2025). Parking must be done using a parking disc and parking is possible for four or eight hours at a time, depending on the location.
