Grebe's nest
Located in the outbuilding of the Nature House Villa Elfvik, Espoo-based groups can book Grebe's nest (Uikunpesä) free of charge for nature and environmental activities. It is an ideal resting and picnic place for independent trips or as a course facility.
Uikunpesä is located in the outbuilding of Nature House Villa Elfvik and has 24 square metres, including a small kitchen with dishes, a toilet and a mud room. Uikunpesä also has a table and about 20 stools. Outside, there is a large table with benches.
Uikunpesä can be used as a resting and picnic place on an independent trip or a nature day. With the equipment in Uikunpesä, you can study nature independently. The use is free of charge. Users must clean up the facility after use.
Uikunpesä can be reserved for nature and environmental activities by Espoo-based daycare and school groups, family day care, city administration and associations. Reservations are made through the Nature House customer service.
Uikunpesä is available for use all year round between 9:00 and 21:00. There is a residential apartment at the other end of the building, so avoid unnecessary noise. Uikunpesä is located in an ancillary building to Villa Elfvik, to the left of the courtyard gate. The key can be retrieved from the main building during the Nature House opening hours.
