Excavation permit and siting permit
Excavation in public areas, such as streets and parks, requires an excavation permit. The running of lines and structures also requires a siting permit. An excavation permit can only be applied for after a siting permit has been issued. Fees for the installation of permanent cables, structures and equipment in public areas No rent or other fees are charged for lines, cables, pipes and related equipment serving a community or property as referred to in sections 161 and 161a of the Land Use and Building Act, nor for telecommunications cables as referred to in the Act on Electronic Communications Services. A fee may be waived for the installation of minor equipment as referred to in section 163 of the Land Use and Building Act. For the installation of other structures, fees are charged in accordance with the currently valid tariff.
