Tiistinlaakso The City Planning Committee returned the plan proposal to the preparation stage by its 7 May 2025 decision. The return decision significantly reduced the amount of the permitted building volume in the plans for the area. Planning will not continue, as implementing the plan would require a new exemption permit on the protection of flying squirrels, which the ELY Centre did not find the grounds to grant due to the significant decrease of permitted building volume.The objective of the local detailed plan was to allow housing and services.
