Espoo’s Public Works Department is planning a new recreational route for the Kaitaankalliot and Vesitorpanpuisto park areas in Kaitaa. The planned route will be approximately 0.6 kilometres long and 3 metres wide. The illuminated route will have a stone dust surface, and it will be maintained during winter. The route will connect in the north to Rysäpolku, in the south to the Riilahdentie pedestrian and cycling path, and in the west to the public parking area on Venepuuntie.

The draft park plan will be added to the project page and Otakantaa.fi website(external link, opens in a new window) during week 7. You can comment on the draft plan until 24 February 2026.

After the draft stage, the finalised park plan will be approved and interested parties will be informed of the decision.

The aim is to build the recreational route during 2026–2027.
