New indoor swimming pool in Espoonlahti Sports Park

A new indoor swimming pool is being planned for Espoonlahti Sports Park. It will replace the current indoor swimming pool, which is in poor condition. The plan amendment covers a swimming centre, an outdoor swimming pool and a car park facility.

The current indoor swimming pool will be demolished and replaced with a new one. The old indoor swimming pool will remain in use until the completion of the new one. The new indoor swimming pool will be able to accommodate large swimming competitions. The preservation of nature and recreational routes in the planning area will be taken into account in the planning.

The current Espoonlahden päiväkoti day-care centre is located in the planning area. It will be demolished and replaced by a new, larger day-care centre on the plot of the old fire station. Read more about the new day-care centre on the Oppilaanmäki plan page.
