The discussion will be open between 18 May and 16 August 2026 for all Espoo residents and anyone interested in the new Espoonlahti swimming pool. In the discussion, new statements can be added until 17 June. After this, the statements that have already been added can be voted on until 16 August. Participation in the discussion is anonymous and takes place online on the digital Voxit discussion platform.

Summary
A new indoor swimming pool is being planned for Espoonlahti Sports Park. It will replace the current indoor swimming pool, which is in poor condition. The plan amendment covers a swimming centre, an outdoor swimming pool and a car park facility.
The current indoor swimming pool will be demolished and replaced with a new one. The old indoor swimming pool will remain in use until the completion of the new one. The new indoor swimming pool will be able to accommodate large swimming competitions. The preservation of nature and recreational routes in the planning area will be taken into account in the planning.
