Additional information
The plan amendment is based on Kera’s component master plan and district plan. Based on these, a daycare centre and a district park, among other things, will be designed for the area as part of the local detailed plan.
The planning will protect the habitat of the area’s flying squirrels. The planning group will take into account the diversity of the yard areas and the management of rainwater run-off, among other things. Furthermore, plans for Kera will also factor in the sustainable development goals, and the area will serve as an example of circular economy.
