Eastern part of Lekkerikuja and Vanha Leilitie

The north-south connection for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, previously located in the block area, between Vanha-Leilitie, Lekkerikuja and Suomenlahdentie will be implemented in the zoning area of Tynnyripuisto. At the same time, the eastern end of Lekkerikuja will be continued so that it will serve the maintenance connections of the future Matinkylä upper secondary school and the existing metro. Construction is expected to begin in 2023.

The draft plan is available for comment on the otakantaa.fi website 21.6. - 12.7.2022.(external link, opens in a new window) A summary response to the feedback received will be given at the end of the comment period on the Otakantaa.fi website.

The street and park plan proposal, which will be finalised after the draft phase, will be made available from 7 November to 21 November 2022. The parties concerned will be notified by letter of the presentation in public.

The Technical Services Committee approved the plans on 14 December 2022.
