OmaEspoo Service Portal Opened – Streamlining Online Services

19.11.2025 10.00

A new OmaEspoo service portal(external link, opens in a new window) has been opened for Espoo residents, bringing the city’s services together in one place and making online transactions smooth regardless of time or location. The range of services will be gradually expanded, but already the portal allows users to give feedback on school transportation, request digital support, and send questions or requests for advice to service units. The service is still in its pilot phase and is continuously being improved.

When logged in, you can see your own contacts

OmaEspoo also offers new digital channels: chatbot Eva, an updated chat, and the possibility of video calls. In addition, there is a knowledge base with answers to frequently asked questions. Services can be used either anonymously or by logging in with suomi.fi authentication. Logged-in users can view their own contacts, their processing stages, as well as their previous transactions. The portal also provides links to other digital services of the city.

The Eva chatbot, chat, and video call are available not only in the OmaEspoo service portal but also on the Espoo.fi website. The idea is that the range of services in OmaEspoo will gradually grow. When an existing online service reaches the end of its lifecycle, its new version may be found in OmaEspoo. The goal is that in the future, residents will find all the services they need in one place.

Feedback on the functionality of OmaEspoo is collected via a feedback form on the front page of the service portal. With this feedback, we aim to develop OmaEspoo into the most functional service possible for residents.
