Draft plans of the Espoo–Salo direct line to be presented at a public event in May

The planning of the new train connection between Helsinki and Turku is close to completion. Turku One Hour Train Ltd will hold a public event for Espoo landowners and residents where the railway plans between Espoo and Salo will be presented.

The public event will be held at the Espoon keskus branch of Omnia at the address Lehtimäentie 1 C on Monday 22 May at 17.00–19.00. The event will cover the main design solutions, the road and street arrangements required by the new railway, the proposed land area purchases and the solutions for noise control. After the presentations, the public will have the opportunity to review maps and give feedback and comments on the plans.

The project director of Turku One Hour Train Ltd and representatives of the planning group will be present at the event.

The plan solutions can also be reviewed in the map service(external link, opens in a new window). The latest plans for the area will be updated in the service at least one day before the public event.
