The opening hours of the city’s switchboard and chat will change on 1 March 2023
As of 1 March, the city’s switchboard and chat will be open from 8:30 to 16:00, Monday through Friday.
The city’s switchboard, general customer service number, and chat, email and feedback services have previously been open during office hours, from 8:00 to 16:00, Monday through Friday. The opening hours have been determined by the needs of health and social services. As health and social services transferred from the city to the wellbeing services county at the beginning of 2023, there is no longer a need to keep the switchboard and other customer services open for the entire duration of office hours. Reducing the opening hours by 30 minutes will enable the customer service staff to switch to single-shift work, which allows optimal use of resources.
