To cheer up young patients at Jorvi Hospital, the City of Espoo has joined forces with the Association of Friends of the University Children’s Hospitals to donate 50 teddy bears to the children’s ward. The teddy bears will be delivered to the hospital in November.

“The Association of Friends of the University Children’s Hospitals does important work. And if these teddy bears can bring some joy to the patients at the children’s ward, the donation went to the right cause,” says Mayor Jukka Mäkelä.

This year, Espoo celebrates its 50th anniversary as a city, and the donation is part of the theme year’s activities.
