Espoo Master Plan 2060 is being prepared collaboratively – participate and influence the objectives in October–November!

Right now, you have an opportunity to influence the objectives of the master planning. We want to know what you and other residents think about the future of our city. What would you like to see in Espoo in the future?

Take the survey below to tell us what you consider important when it comes to shaping the future of the city. You can also come and meet master planning experts and listen to presentations at the master plan information events.

Completing the survey should take a total of 2–5 minutes, and can be done effortlessly on a mobile phone or computer.

• The survey will ask you to weigh two options at a time. Select the option that you consider more important.
• After this, provide your own answer to the following question: What would you like Espoo to have in the future?

Come and discuss the future of Espoo at our information events

The events will feature interviews, info lectures and encounters with our experts. As part of the events, the libraries will also be organising fun, future-themed activities for children. The events are being organised collaboratively by the Espoo City Planning Department and Espoo City Library.

If you cannot make it, do not worry! The last hour of the Sello event, from 18:00 to 19:00, will be live-streamed for remote viewers.(external link, opens in a new window) During this one-hour period, remote viewers can also submit questions. The day’s themed interviews will be recorded and a video of the entire event programme will be published later.

Drawing workshop for children:

• Learn about the future, Espoo and the urban environment through inspiring children’s books.
• Contribute to a communal piece of art by drawing your own hopes and ideas for the future on a giant roll of paper.
