Demonstrate green transition with your company’s service or product

13.9.2022 13.12

Does your company offer a product or service that conserves natural resources, reduces greenhouse gas emissions or increases biodiversity? Suggest the product or service for a demonstration of green transition, and you will have a chance to develop it together with the City of Espoo.

The proposed demonstration may be still at the concept level, or the development work may be well underway. What matters is whether the product or service would benefit from being tested in an authentic environment.

The demonstrations will be selected through a tendering process. The City will purchase them as a service. The tendering process will open in September 2022, and the demonstration should be finished and results reported in May 2023. The demonstration price must not exceed EUR 15,000 (+ VAT).

The green transition demonstration may be related to digitalisation, traffic, energy, urban development, circular economy, or biodiversity. It is key that the product or service in question will promote the green transition, i.e. it can help add jobs or companies’ revenue while disconnecting economic growth from the consumption of natural resources.
