Welcome to the forest trail!

You can learn about the City of Espoo’s forest management practices by taking a walk on the forest trail that traverses Keskuspuisto II, i.e. the western half of the city’s central park. The trail runs alongside the pedestrian route. You can find the forest trail through Espoo’s map service(external link, opens in a new window) by selecting Outdoor recreation > Forest trail (Metsäpolku). The trail includes twelve stops. Each stop features a forest-related question or a task that offers a peek into urban forest management.
