Limited student health services available during the spring semester
During the spring semester, Espoo’s student health services staff will continue to participate in critical coronavirus-related health care activities, such as vaccinations. In January and February, school nurses will be needed at the city’s vaccination sites and will therefore be absent from schools for several days. Unfortunately, students may have to wait for their appointments for several weeks.
Please note that we will not, as a rule, send separate invitations to health checks and other visits during the spring.
During the spring semester of 2022, we will especially offer services to students who have concerns and need support. If a student or their family is concerned about issues related to one’s health, wellbeing or ability to study, please contact the school nurse.
Students and also their guardians, if necessary, can attend an appointment with a school nurse remotely. You will receive more detailed instructions from the nurse.
If necessary, students can visit the school nurse during their walk-in hours. Information on walk-in hours is available on Wilma and/or the school’s website.
