Christmas tree sales sites now available through an open online auction

The City of Espoo is leasing out land areas to Christmas tree vendors. The city has changed the application procedure, and sales sites are now for the first time offered through an open online auction.

In 2021, permits for selling Christmas trees in the city’s land areas are being auctioned on the huutokaupat.com website. You can find the available sites here(external link, opens in a new window) (in Finnish). There are 20 sites in different parts of Espoo, and they will be leased out to the highest bidder. The auction will end on 14 November.

All bidders must read the conditions and check the map provided on the auction website. By placing a bid, the bidder accepts the conditions and agrees to comply with them.
