Espoo will sell the last two residential plots on sale in the much sought-after Jousenpuisto area in Tapiola. The plots will be sold to Rakennusliike Lapti Oy which was the successful tenderer. The selling price is approximately €12.1 million. In total, 14 tenders were made.

In recent years, a lot of new apartments have been built in Jousenpuisto near the Urheilupuisto metro station. A good location with excellent transport connections in the proximity of diverse services in Tapiola make the area an attractive place to live. The square, located in connection with the Urheilupuisto metro station, features, among other things, a grocery shop and restaurants. Tapiola Sports Park offers a wide range of sports services. The new Jousenkaaren koulu primary school will be completed in 2022.

The block area of the plots to be sold is bordered from the north by the street Jousenpuistonkatu and from the south by an apartment block plot.

The total permitted building area of the plots is 5,350 floor square metres.

The purchase conditions include a requirement that the average area of the apartments must be at least 55 m2. The minimum area of one-room apartments is 30 m2. In addition, the number of one-room apartments must not exceed 30% of the total number of apartment.

In Jousenpuisto, parking spaces are ready in the parking facility, so that cars do not take up space in the yards and residents can make the most of the yards.

The Trade and Competitiveness Division of the City Board will discuss the sale of plots in its meeting on 4 October.
