Lay-offs and redundancies

If your organisation is subject to the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings and you are about to start change negotiations that may lead to changes affecting personnel, you must notify the employment authority of the change situation.

We advise and support employers in situations where employees may need to be laid off or made redundant. We assist dismissed employees in finding new employment. Services can be tailored to the needs of each employer. We also advise employers that are not subject to the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings in change situations.

Complete the form and submit it to the employment authority responsible for your company’s registered office or place of business. The employment authorities will inform each other as necessary.
