If you need help with using Espoo’s digital services, you can contact a service advisor by video call. Thanks to the video connection, advising is easy and personal.

Using digital services is not always easy. The opportunity to receive personal guidance over a video connection offers greater confidence, especially for those who do not use digital services on a daily basis.

Screen sharing during a video call helps a lot, especially with technical challenges, as the service advisor and resident can see the same view and solve problems together. It is also a helpful feature when filling in applications and forms.

The service advisor can provide step-by-step advice on how an electronic form works and where to enter information.

“Screen sharing has proven to be convenient with various electronic forms, for example,” says service advisor Eveliina Bah.

The video call service makes digital service use easier, especially for elderly residents. Thanks to the video connection, the service advisor can instruct the resident with the use of digital devices. If necessary, the resident can book an appointment for personal digital support.

“We mostly help people with using the city’s digital systems, such as Wilma for communication between the school and homes, but our services cover all digital services, such as Kela’s services," Bah says.

A video call can be easily started through the chat service. On the Espoo.fi home page, there is a pop-up chat window where the resident can select video call as the contact method. The service advisor sends a link through which the connection opens in the browser with one click.

Video calls are also available on the following pages: Chat and telephone services, School admissions, and Working at Espoo. Soon they will also be available in connection with sports services.
