Jobs for young people
The temporary job bank is intended for 14–29-year-old Espoo residents who want to:
- get work experience and learn about different jobs
- work occasionally
- make some money.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t have work experience yet – the important thing is that you want to learn something new.

Use the job databse to offer work to young people
Offer a temporary job to a 14–29-year-old Espoo resident
- Jobs can only be offered by the City of Espoo’s different units, organisations and clubs.
- There will be no costs to the employer; the City of Espoo will pay the young person for the hours they work.
- The young person will not have an employment relationship with the employer.
- The young person will be paid EUR 10 per working hour.

The City of Espoo will pay EUR 300 to all employers who hire a young Espoo resident between 1 May and 30 September using a Summer Job Voucher. The minimum duration of the summer job is 10 working days and 50 working hours, either consecutively or divided into several periods. The employer cannot be a private household, a family or a private person.
In 2022, the Summer Job Voucher is intended for young Espoo residents born between 2003 and 2007.
