Game hub for SMEs in the Capital Region
The main objective of the project is to create a sustainable framework for the creation of new game industry business in the Capital Region, while strengthening Finland's position as a world-class centre of expertise in the game industry.
The aim of the project is to increase the number, quality, cooperation and employment readiness of small and medium-sized Finnish gaming companies.
The heart of the hub is Espoo Game LAB, where selected participants can develop their games as well as themselves in a professional environment. New participants are admitted to Espoo Game LAB twice a year.
Activities are partly funded by EU.
What does the game hub offer?
Community: For early-stage gaming companies, we offer aoffice spaces that enable collaboration and networking with other industry experts and new game companies. The A Grid building, where we are located, also offers office spaces if you are looking for a new home for your company.
Accelerator services: We provide services that help businesses grow and develop, such as mentoring and finding funding.
Network of creative industries: We create an environment where diverse digital creative industries can benefit from collaborative work and new innovative ideas.
Partnerships and support
We leverage the city's long-standing co-development networks to create strategic partnerships between gaming companies, organizations and educational institutions.
