Laajalahti winter swimming spot
The winter swimming spot is located at the Laajalahti marina near the Laajalahti nature reserve.
On the jetty, there is a wind shelter with a heated floor panel and heated steps leading into the water. A pump keeps the water circulating and the hole in the ice open. There are no saunas or showers.
There is a small, heated changing room maintained by Laajalahden Talviuimarit.
The Laajalahti winter swimming spot is in use from 1 November - 30 April.
Keys to the changing room are beeing dealt out at the Laajalahti winter swimming spot for the 2025-2026 swimming season on Sundays from 6-6:30 PM on 9 November/23 November/7 December/28 December. The key is handed over at the changing room on the beach. The key costs 10€, cash only, please reserve an even amount.
