Tree-felling

The permission to fell trees in the yard or plot is resolved in the Building Control Department. Even the felling of one tree may require a landscape work permit if it affects the cityscape and scenery. On the other hand, felling several trees in the yard may be considered minor if plenty of trees remain in the yard. Contact the permit drafters of the Building Control Department for more information. If the tree designated for felling is located in a street or park area, the permission for its felling is resolved in the City Planning Department. Forest felling requiring a landscape work permit is resolved in the City Planning Department. Forest felling may require landscape work permit in the town plan area and certain master plan areas (building prohibition, plan regulation or building code). More information is available at the City Planning Department. The Public Works Department fells trees that are in bad condition or dangerous in parks, along streets, in public yards and in urban forests. Trees that are in bad condition or dangerous can be reported through the feedback service on the website or the Trimble Feedback mobile application, which also enables adding a picture of the subject. Of course, you can also send mail to the customer service of the City Planning Department or call them.
