Cooperation in the prevention of accidents, specified in section 42 of the Rescue Act, refers to cooperation with different authorities in the prevention of fires and accidents. An expert from the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department can participate, for example, in the building permit process and in local safety working groups.
