Espoo recruitment subsidy
Hire an Espoo resident under the age of 30 or an unemployed foreign-language speaker and introduce fresh expertise and new perspectives to your team. We will support your recruitment with a one-off subsidy of 5,000 euros. This is Espoo’s own subsidy for employers who hire an unemployed Espoo resident.
Recruitment subsidy for young people
Hire an unemployed Espoo or Kauniainen resident aged under 30 and introduce young energy and expertise to your team. The subsidy covers 50 per cent of the wage costs (up to 1,500 euros per month and up to 9,000 euros in total). This is a state-funded employment voucher.
Pay subsidy
Get a new player in your team and help them enter the labour market. Pay subsidy is available for the employment relationships and apprenticeships of jobseekers from Espoo and Kauniainen. The subsidy is between 50 and 70 per cent, in some cases up to 100 per cent of the wage costs. Pay subsidy is granted based on the jobseeker’s service needs.
Subsidy for arranging working conditions
If an employee’s disability or illness requires special arrangements, you may receive a subsidy for making alterations. The subsidy may cover, for example, the purchase of tools, alterations to workspaces or assistance provided by another employee. With the subsidy, you can hire or retain a skilled worker and ensure that their work is smooth every day. The subsidy applies to the residents of Espoo and Kauniainen.
Summer job voucher
Hire a young Espoo resident born between 2007 and 2011 for a summer job for at least 60 hours and receive a compensation of 350 euros. Providing a summer job is a nice way to introduce young energy to your team and to support a young person’s first steps toward employment.
