Streets and trafficLeppävaaraThe City of Espoo’s Public Works Department has begun drafting street plans for Veininmäki, Veininrinne, and Veininkuja. These street plans will enable the construction of streets in accordance with the detailed plan and facilitate improvements to stormwater management in the area.

Design
On August 12, 2026, the City of Espoo organized a residents' walk for property owners on Veininmäki, Veininrinne, and Veininkuja in connection with street planning. The purpose of the walk was to take the area's specific characteristics into account in collaboration with residents and planners.
The draft plans are available for review on the Otakantaa service (www.otakantaa.fi(external link, opens in a new window)) from September 28 to October 12, 2026. Residents and other interested parties may comment on the drafts on the site during this two-week period.
Following the draft stage, the finalized street plan proposal will be made available for public review in late 2026. Parties concerned will be notified separately by letter when the plan is available for review.
