Veininmäki outdoor route
ParksLeppävaaraEspoo’s Public Works Department has started planning a recreational route in Veininmäki, Laaksolahti.

Design
The planning of the outdoor route contains composing a park plan for the Veininmäki park and a street plan for the Runkotie street area, and then construction plans once those are completed.
The route will be built in 2024-2025.
The route is aimed to increase recreational opportunities for the area’s residents and to improve transport connections. The new outdoor route is planned to loop from Kuusinevantie through the Veininmäki park area. The route will also connect Veininkuja, Veininmäki, Ukinpolku, Latvatie and Runkotie streets. The total length of the route is approximately one kilometre.
The route will be 3-3.5 metres wide, covered with stone ash and illuminated over its entire length. It will also be maintained in winter. Benches and rubbish bins, and possibly a small outdoor gym, will be placed along the route.
