ParksTapiolaIn collaboration with Espoo Sports and Exercise Services, the Espoo Public Works is planning new workout stairs in the Vahvialankallio park area. There is a rocky slope with very few trees in the area, and the aim is to place the stairs on its eastern side, close to the current lamp posts. The lighting fixtures on site will be used to light the stairs in the future. Felling trees and disturbing the vegetation unnecessarily will be avoided. There are fortifications dating from World War I on top of the hill; their preservation will not be at risk.
