Town planning of the Vassholm area
Local detailed plansMatinkyläDetailed plans will be prepared for detached housing in the Storhemt residential area based on the Sepäkallio-Storhemt master plan. The detailed plan will also include designated recreational and protected areas complementing Central Park. The planning area is delimited by Salinpellontie in the south and Kyläsepäntie in the east. In accordance with the City Planning Committee's decision, preparation of the detailed plan will continue based on the master plan's solutions, once the Espoo Master Plan 2026 has been made available to the public.

Background information
Previous plans focused on the area as part of the detailed plans for Suurpelto IV and Suurpelto V. The City Planning Committee approved the plan proposals on 17 January 2012, but the City Board returned them to the planning process on 25 March 2019 for feasibility improvements.
