Town planning of the Kyläseppä area

Local detailed plansMatinkylä

On the basis of the district plan work, the detailed plan will be updated for places such as Smedsbyskola and the workplace area connected to Nihtisilta. The Gerk farm area will be included in the detailed plan. The planning will take into account the diversification of functions as well as traffic arrangements. The most important historical and landscape values will be taken into consideration in the planning. The outline and schedule of the detailed plan will be specified later. As the planning progresses, dividing the plan area into parts will become possible.

Background information

Previous plans focused on the area as part of the detailed plans for Suurpelto IV and Suurpelto V. The City Planning Committee approved the plan proposals on 17 January 2012, but the City Board returned them to the planning process on 25 March 2019 for feasibility improvements.
