Toppelundinranta outdoor gym (new location)
ParksTapiolaThe Espoo Public Works Department, in cooperation with the Sports and Exercise Unit, is planning to build a new outdoor gym in Toppelundinranta, near the Toppelund beach. The new outdoor gym will offer a pleasant environment for independent exercise and encourage people to work out and enjoy outdoor activities in a pleasant seafront environment.

Design
At the beginning of the planning process, a survey was organized, through which residents could share their thoughts and wishes for the design of the outdoor fitness area. The survey was open from the 11th to the 25th of November in 2025 and the current park plan draft is based on the feedback gathered with the survey and with the previous plan while it was in the interaction phase.
The current park plan draft can be commented on in the Otakantaa.fi service at: https://www.otakantaa.fi/fi/hankkeet/1245/(external link, opens in a new window) till the 22nd of April 2026. After the draft stage, the finalised park plan will be approved and interested parties will be informed of the decision. The goal is to build the Toppelundinranta outdoor gym during 2026.
